The 36 Days of Type challenge is an annual creative project that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to showcase their unique perspective of the latin alphabet. Over 36 consecutive days, participants are challenged to design a new letter or number each day.
For my first attempt at the challenge, I chose to only use simple shapes like lines and rectangles, but had fun experimenting with gradients to add volume and depth. It was rewarding experience that pushed me creatively and allowed me to explore new possibilities.
After completing the 36 Days of Type challenge, I wanted to do something more with my designs than just sharing them on Instagram.
I decided to create a t-shirt featuring all of the letters and numbers I had designed during the challenge. It was a great way to showcase my creativity in a tangible and wearable form, and I enjoyed seeing my designs come to life on a physical product.
